I'm curious to know if anyone else here likes making art. If you make art, what kind of art do you make? What media do you use and what are your favorite subjects? I mostly just doodle animals with pens and whatever I feel like working with, like colored pencils. Wolves and cats have long been favorite subjects of mine. I like to paint human characters digitally, since it's way more forgiving than working on paper. Digital tools kind of enable me to be a perfectionist though >-< Anyways, is anyone interested in doing something together, like a game of art telephone? I'm open to other ideas too

Oh, hello. ^ ^
I love all kinds of art: 3-D sculpting, pixel art, composing, playing piano, singing, acting, programming, and of course, web development. I suppose you're asking about drawing specifically. I love doing that too and always wanted to improve at it, but never really found the natural growth I've found in other areas.
I love the mix of styles on your site. My favourite one of those must be either the ruffled swan or the Victorian with the dual-birded shoulder.

Hi there That's a lot of arts! I wish I could play a musical instrument. I've tried learning to play the guitar multiple times, but I didn't take to it as naturally as I did visual arts. But anyway, out of the list of arts you gave, which would you say is your favorite? (Sorry, I really should have clarified that I meant all kinds of art. Some of the things I said, such as my art telephone suggestion, were specifically about drawing and I didn't think to speak more broadly ^^") Also, thank you for checking out my drawings! I'm glad you saw something you liked <3

I should have added writing to that list as well.
I gave that question a moment of thought, but I don't know whether I have a favourite. If I really had to pick one, I'd need to think for some time longer. I've spent a lot of time on all of them.
I think that's because I consider them all the same thing. Animals seem to have thoughts and memories and imaginations, but I think humans might be uniquely capable of conveying detailed versions of those things to each other, and everything on that list is a way to do that.
I used to post digital art on social media now and then, but never really had a section in my Web home for it. That's good inspiration to consider having one.

Also worked in this field for several public institutions and non-governmental entities. Failed miserably at everithing i did - if you think of doing a career in arts, i can discurage you :-) Am happy to share my failiure - so you wont repeat it. Am also ready to give a professional opinion / feedback about a work.

I attended an arts school, but lately my focus has been on computers. Maybe I can find a way to combine the two.

…if you think of doing a career in arts, i can discurage you :-) Am happy to share my failiure - so you wont repeat it. I suppose I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad if it was ultimately benevolent. I might have a similar "warning": I've been fortunate enough to live in a town that values the arts enough that, with the exception of working a minimum-wage job for a year or two during college, my entire income has come from various combinations of the kinds of art I mentioned above, and I've always made at least a survivable living. However, I've certainly never been rich, and I've always had to plan carefully. I've never really taken anything resembling a vacation. But I don't consider that failure or carry any regret. I was thinking about that lately. There seems to be something of a spectrum between "it doesn't matter whether you like your job – work hard and earn a lot of money" and "it doesn't matter whether you earn a lot of money – do what you love and you'll always be happy." I can respect people's location on that spectrum as a personal choice, but evidently I'm the latter through and through, tirelessly trying to find ways to make turn the things I enjoy into the continuation of my modest living. So my "warning" is that it's possible, but only to strive for it if you'd find the modesty worthwhile.
