Hi, anyone still looming around here. ^ ^ I'm checking in because my favourite web-based celebration, Science Week, is coming up in a few days! All we do is share a cool science-related link or thought on our personal sites or blogs each day from February 12 through 18. A couple of us shared our posts last year on The Yesterweb Forum. It's a great way to acknowledge something that benefits all of us while getting to know each other a little better. It's fun, friendly and wondrous, and I'd love to be joined by anyone from The Web Raft this year. Feel free to reply with any questions, and check here for more: stevebarnes.org/science-week

This sounds like a lot of fun! I will see if I can put something together, at least for the first day.

I will update this comment with every new post. PurelyConstructive – I'm smacking myself for failing to check back until now, but the magnitude of the cumulative surprise might have been worth it. I've only just had the chance to read half your first post, but it's been excellent: very much written in the spirit I feel, and with a focus in an area of science I've barely explored myself. I can hardly wait for the chance to read through the rest. I hope you'll permit me to add your links to my archive of posts and possibly feature one as an example as next year's week approaches.

I'm glad that you are enjoying them. Of course, please feel free to link to anything on the website. It is there for others to (hopefully) benefit from. Thank you for starting Science Week! Unfortunately, my current circumstances are such that it is difficult to make daily posts (hence the delay with the last two posts and the brevity of the explanations), but I had a lot of fun. I just wish I could share more.
